About us

Who are we?
Bryn Vets in Ashton-in-Makerfield was opened in 2005 by Chris Copeman MRCVS, who founded the practice with a clear vision: to provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to local pets and their families. From one dedicated vet, the practice has grown into a trusted and well-respected clinic serving Bryn, Ashton-in-Makerfield and the wider Wigan area, with a Golborne branch later opening to support more pet owners.
At our Bryn surgery, you’ll be welcomed by a friendly, experienced team who create a calm, reassuring environment for every animal. We offer a wide range of services, including vaccinations, health checks, dental care, neutering, microchipping and more advanced medical support.
Our practice is built on trust, continuity and genuine care. Many clients value seeing familiar faces at each visit, helping pets feel comfortable and confident.
Every pet is unique, so we tailor our approach to their personality, age and health needs. Whether it’s a first check-up, ongoing care, or support for a senior pet, we are here to help.
At Bryn Vets, we don’t just treat pets — we build lasting relationships, providing guidance, compassionate care and dependable support throughout every stage of your pet’s life.
